Who is God?

God is the Creator of all things. He is the only perfect being. He loves us so much that He left His throne in Heaven to take on human flesh, become a curse, and die a horrible death so that we could get to know Him, experience His undying and unchanging love for us, and live with Him forever in the place He is preparing for us.
Genesis 1:26 - “Let Us make mankind in Our image, in Our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
Man has a body, a spirit, and a soul. Three parts, yet one.
God also has three – Persons, yet He is One. This is referred to as the Holy Trinity or the Godhead. He is the One True and Living God.
God the Father (Heavenly Father, Abba Father)
God the Son (The Word of God, Jesus Christ, Son of Man, Son of God, The Messiah, Emmanuel, The Good Shepherd, The Lamb of God, The Truth, The Light, The Way, Second Adam)
God the Holy Spirit (The Helper, The Comforter, The Teacher, The Holy Ghost, The Spirit of Christ, The Spirit of God).
One scripture that captures all three Persons of the Godhead is Matthew 3:16-17 which says, “As soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water. At that moment, heaven was opened, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on Him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased.”
John 1:14 says, “The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.”
To come into this world as a human being, God chose Mary, a virgin and willing vessel, to bring our Savior into this world. Though Jesus Christ was fully human, He was still fully God, and therefore He was the perfect sacrifice to pay the price of our sins. According to John 10:10, Jesus came so that we could have life and have it more abundantly. Jesus came to show us how to live – how to honor the Heavenly Father, just as He did in all His 33 years as a man.
Our God is an unending mystery, and blessed is the man who seeks the heart of the Father.
When you repent and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, your body becomes a temple, and the Holy Spirit makes His home inside you. When you submit to Him, He transforms you from the inside out into a new creature in Christ.
You do not become a better version of yourself, you become more like Him.
As you walk with God, He will reveal more about Himself. Think of Him as the Lover of your soul, the Best Father you could ever have, and the Best Friend, you never knew you needed. I pray that your walk with God will take the first place in your life and that He will show you that it's Him your heart has been yearning for all these years. The REAL Him.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I love you. I love You because of Who you are for me right now, and Who you want to be for me for the rest of my life. I thank you that it is your deepest desire for me to spend more time with you and talk to you about the things in my heart.
Forgive me, Lord, for not thinking of You first. Forgive me for every time I thought of myself and others before I think of you. I pray that You will be the first Person I think of when I wake in the morning and that You will be the last Person I think of before I fall asleep at night. Help me, Lord God, to focus on You.
Lord, You are the lover of my soul, and I am the apple of Your eye. I am Your beloved whom you want to pour your love and blessings on so that the world can see how beautiful You are and how much You truly love Your children.
Father, help me to love like You. Precious Holy Spirit, renew my spirit so I can move harmoniously with You. Help me, oh Lord, to love you more and more each day. Make me a vessel of your love.
Lord, thank You so much for answering my prayers. I look forward to having more talks with You throughout the day because I know You look forward to hearing from me.
I love You, Abba Father. In Jesus' Name, I pray.
-Amen.
